நியூயார்க், மே 27: இலங்கையில் போரின் போது அரசு தரப்பிலும், தமிழீழ விடுதலைப் புலிகள் தரப்பிலுமான மனித உரிமை மீறல்களை சுதந்திரமாக விசாரிப்பது நாட்டின் எதிர்காலத்துக்கு உதவும் என்று ஐ.நா. சபையின் மனித உரிமை கவுன்சில் தெரிவித்துள்ளது. இலங்கையில் மனித உரிமை நிலை குறித்து விவாதிப்பதற்கான சிறப்புக் கூட்டத்தை ஐ.நாவின் மனித உரிமை கவுன்சில் நேற்று கூட்டியது. இந்தக் கூட்டத்தில் விடியோ மூலம் மேற்கண்ட கருத்தை அக்கவுன்சிலின் தலைவர் நவி பிள்ளை தெரிவித்தார். மேலும் அவர் கூறியது: சர்வதேச மனித உரிமை சட்டங்களை மீறும் வகையில் இலங்கையில் மனித உரிமை மீறல்கள் நடைபெற்றுள்ளன. போர் நடைபெற்ற போது அப்பாவி மக்களை புலிகள் மனித கேடயங்களாகப் பயன்படுத்துகின்றனர் என்று அரசும், பாதுகாப்பு பகுதி என்ற வலைக்குள் மக்களை சிக்கவைத்து அரசு கொன்று குவிப்பதாக புலிகளும் மாறி மாறி குற்றஞ்சாட்டி வந்தனர். அப்பாவி மக்களை புலிகள் சுட்டதாகவும் புகார் எழுந்தது. அதேபோல, ராணுவத்தினர் சக்திவாய்ந்த ஆயுதங்கள் மூலம் தமிழ் மக்கள் அதிகம் வசித்த பகுதிகள் மீது தாக்குதல் நடத்திக் கொன்றனர். ஈழத்தமிழர்கள் சிகிச்சை பெற்ற மருத்துவமனை மீது பல தடவை தாக்குதல் நடத்தி ஏராளமானோரைக் கொன்றதாகவும்ர ராணுவத்தினர் மீது குற்றச்சாட்டு சுமத்தப்பட்டது. போர் நிறைவடையும் தருவாயில் சரணடைய வந்த புலிகள் அமைப்பைச் சேர்ந்தவர்களை ராணுவம் சுட்டுத் தள்ளியதாகவும் கூறப்படுகிறது. இதுபோன்று இரு தரப்பினரின் செயல்பாடுகளை பார்க்கும் போது அவை சர்வதேச மனித உரிமை சட்டத்தையும், போர் விதிமுறைகளையும் மீறுவதாகவே உள்ளன. இதனால் இதை சுதந்திரமாக விசாரிப்பது அவசியம். அவ்வாறு விசாரிப்பது புதிய பாதையில் பயணிக்கத் தொடங்கியுள்ள இலங்கையின் எதிர்காலத்துக்கு பெரிதும் உதவியாக இருக்கும் என்று நவி பிள்ளை தெரிவித்தார். இலங்கையில் போர் முடிவுக்கு வந்துள்ள நிலையில், புலிகளுக்கு எதிராகப் போர் நடத்துவதாகக் கூறி பொது மக்களை கொன்று மனிதப் படுகொலையை அதிபர் ராஜபட்ச அரங்கேற்றியுள்ளார் என்றும், இதுகுறித்து ஐ.நா.வின் மனித உரிமை கவுன்சில் விசாரித்து ராஜபட்சவுக்கு கடுமையான தண்டனை அளிக்க வேண்டும் என்றும் உலக நாடுகள் வலியுறுத்தி வருகின்றன. இதுபோன்ற நிலையில் இலங்கையில் நடைபெற்ற மனித உரிமை மீறல்களை விசாரிப்பது குறித்து ஐ.நா. மனித உரிமை கவுன்சில் சிறப்புக் கூட்டத்தைக் கூட்டி ஆலோசித்தது.

கருத்துகள்

1/2) ஐநா வில் கொண்டு வரப்பட்டுள்ள போர்க் கொடுமைகளுக்கு எதிரான தீர்மானம் ஒருதலைச் சார்பாக சிங்கள அரசிற்கு உதவும வகையில்தான் கொண்டு வரப்பட்டு்ள்ளது. மனித நேய ஆர்வலர்களும் அரசியல் அறிஞர்களும் வலியுறுத்துவது போல் இந்த விசாரணை சிங்கள அரசால் மேற்கொள்ளப்படாமல் பன்னாட்டு அமைப்பால் மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டால்தான் உண்மை வெளியே வரும். மனித உரிமைக் குழுவின தலைவர் உரை இதற்கு வலிமை சேர்ப்பது போல் உள்ளது. இவ் விசாரணையை நடுநிலையாக மேற்கொண்டு குற்றவாளிகளுக்குக் கடுந்தண்டனை வழங்குவதுடன் நில்லாமல் இனியேனும 'குதிரை தொலைந்த பின் இலாயத்தைப் பூட்டும் ' அறியாமையை நிறுத்தி , வரும் முன் காக்கும் அமைப்பாகத் தன்னை வலிமை வாய்ந்த அமைப்பாக ஐநா மாற்றிக் கொள்ளட்டும்! யாருக்கு என்ன த்ணடனை வழங்கினால் என்ன? எரிகுண்டுகளாலும கடுமையான முறையிலும் கொல்லப்பட்ட உயிர்களைத் திருப்பித் த்ர இயலுமா? அழிவிற்கு உள்ளான நாட்டு வளத்தை உடனடியாகத் திருப்பிக் கொணர இயலுமா? 2/2) (தொடர்ச்சி) அணுகுண்டுகளால் பாதிக்கப்பட்ட நாடுகளும் கடுமையாகப் போராடி உரிமை பெற்ற நாடுகளும் நாட்டு அரசியல் அடிப்படையில் உண்மையின பக்கம் இல்லாமல் கொடுமையின் பக்கம் நின்ற பேரவலம் இனியாவது தொடராமல் இருக்கட்டும்!

Whole world knows that more than 50,000 innocent Tamils have been killed by their own Government..recently in the name of war against terrorism. But the cowards are still saying that the war is far from being over. In other words it's genocide that's in the Governments' mind. The Rajapakshe Government should be punished severely otherwise these type of idiotic, barbaric actions will be repeated.

We have said enough and the entire world knows what happened and what still happening in Tamil Ealam, sorry in Srilanka. There is a saying that "you can wake up a sleeping dog but not the dog which is pretending to be sleeping". All these countries which are supporting this genocide is in a way eying for some personal benefits and for them, there is nothing called humanity, civiliztion or conscience! We are living in a totally barbaric world. Even after the top leaders being killed, SL Govt is still torturing and killing innocent people in the name of fighting LTTE cadres. What they want is complete elemination of TAMILS who can rise up against atrocities. I am sure they will find another KARUNA in the North as well and carry out their programme of Sinhalese colonisation meticulously. The option left for Tamils is to learn to live as second citizens or to perish fighting them back. As a civilized Tamil citizen, I feel ashamed! whatelse I can do!
