புது தில்லி, அக்.15: இலங்கை தமிழர் மறுவாழ்வு மற்றும் குடியமர்த்தும் பணியில் மிகுந்த முன்னேற்றம் ஏற்பட்டுள்ளதாக இலங்கை அதிபர் ராஜபட்ச தெரிவித்தார். பிரதமர் மன்மோன் சிங்கை வெள்ளிக்கிழமை நேரில் சந்தித்துப் பேசியபோது அவர் இத்தகவலை தெரிவித்தார். தில்லியில் நடைபெற்ற 19-வது காமன்வெல்த் போட்டியின் நிறைவு நாள் நிகழ்ச்சியில் சிறப்பு விருந்தினராகக் கலந்து கொண்டார் ராஜபட்ச. இவருக்கு வெள்ளிக்கிழமை பிற்பகல் விருந்தளித்தார் பிரதமர் மன்மோகன் சிங். அப்போது பல்வேறு விஷயங்கள் குறித்து இரு தலைவர்களும் விவாதித்தனர். இரு நாடுகளிடையிலான உறவு, பல்வேறு துறைகளில் இணைந்து செயலாற்றுவது உள்ளிட்ட பல விஷயங்கள் குறித்து இரு தலைவர்களும் விரிவாக விவாதித்தனர். அதிகாரபூர்வமற்ற முறையிலான இந்த பேச்சு வார்த்தையில் பல்வேறு விஷயங்களும் இடம்பெற்றன. இலங்கைப் போரினால் பாதிக்கப்பட்டு அகதிகள் முகாமில் உள்ளவர்களை மீண்டும் அவர்களது வீடுகளில் குடியமர்த்துவது பணியில் ஏற்பட்டுள்ள முன்னேற்றங்களை அதிபர் ராஜபட்ச, பிரதமர் மன்மோகனிடம் விரிவாக விளக்கினார். அப்போது தமிழர்களுக்கு அதிகாரங்களை பகிர்ந்து அளிப்பதற்கான நடவடிக்கைகளை விரைவுபடுத்த வேண்டும் என்றார் மன்மோகன் சிங். முன்னதாக வியாழக்கிழமை மத்திய வெளியுறவு அமைச்சர் எஸ்.எம். கிருஷ்ணாவும், இலங்கை வெளியுறவு அமைச்சர் ஜி.எல். பெரிஸýம் ஆலோசனை நடத்தினர். போரினால் பாதிக்கப்பட்டு அகதிகள் முகாம்களில் 2.80 லட்சம் பேர் இருந்தனர். அரசு எடுத்த நடவடிக்கையால் இப்போது முகாம்களில் உள்ள மக்களின் எண்ணிக்கை 20 ஆயிரமாகக் குறைந்துள்ளது என்று பெரிஸ் தெரிவித்தார். தமிழர்களுக்கு அதிகாரம் அளிப்பது குறித்தும் அப்போது ஆலோசிக்கப்பட்டது. இலங்கையில் அதிபர் தேர்தல் மற்றும் பிற தேர்தல்கள் சுமுகமாக நடந்துள்ளன. இலங்கை அரசியலில் ஏற்பட்டுள்ள முன்னேற்றத்தைக் கருத்தில் கொண்டு தமிழர்களுக்கு உரிய அதிகாரம் அளிக்க வேண்டும் என்று அப்போது வலியுறுத்தியதாக, வெள்ளிக்கிழமை செய்தியாளர்களிடம் பேசுகையில் எஸ்.எம். கிருஷ்ணா குறிப்பிட்டார்.

எஞ்சியுள்ள தமிழர் பகுதிகளிலும் சிங்களர்களைக் குடியிருக்கச் செய்து விட்டு அங்கு தமிழர்களை அடைத்து விட்டு மறு குடியமர்த்தம் முடிந்ததாகச் சொல்வதில் ஏன் இன்னும் காலத்தாழ்ச்சி என்று மன்மோகன் கேட்டாராம். அதுபாட்டுக்கு அது நடக்கும். நான் அனைத்துத் தமிழர்களையும் மறு குடியமர்த்தம் செய்து விட்டதாக அறிக்கை தருகிறேன் என்றாராம் பக்சே. மாற்றாக நாங்கள் தமிழக மீனவர்களைக் கடல் இல்லாத பகுதிகளில் குடியமர்த்தம் செய்தவாக மன்சிங் ஒப்புக் கொண்டாராம். இருப்பினும் இருவர் உள்ளத்திலும் காலம் மாறினால் கம்பி எண்ணினால் போதுமா? தூக்குக் கயிற்றை முத்தமிட வேண்டுமா என்ற கவலை ஊசலாடியதாகவும் தெரிகிறது. எண்ணிக்கையைக் குறைத்து 30,000 தமிழர்களைக் குடியமர்த்தம் செய்ய வேண்டும் எனத் தமிழகத்திலிருந்து மடல் வந்துள்ளதால் பெருமபான்மையரை மறு குடியமர்த்தம் செய்ததாகச் சான்று கிடைத்ததாக எண்ணி மகிழ்ச்சியும் கொண்டனராம்.
