I heard about this possible Manipuri translation couple of years ago. I have been looking forward to get a copy of this for my website on Tirukkural in 30 languages (http://kuraltranslations.blogspot.in/). I keep traveling to NE and I have been egging one scholar Mr. Sharma to translate the work into Assamese. It is a shame that the Kural has not yet been rendered in Assamese, easily the important NE Indian language with a long literary history.
