பாமக தோற்றது பற்றிய கருத்துக்கள் எல்லாம் ஒரு சதவீதம் ஓட்டு என்பதெல்லாம் சரிதான் கடந்து சென்ற தேர்தல்களை ஒற்று நோக்கினால் பல கட்சிகள் இதே போன்ற நிலைகளை அடைந்துள்ளதை நாம் காணலாம். உதாரணத்திற்கு திமுக எம் ஜி ஆர் ஆட்சி காலத்தில் நடைபெற்ற தேர்தலில் 233 சட்ட மன்ற தொகுதிகளில் தோற்று சாதனை படைத்ததை மறக்கமுடியாது. எனவே வெற்றி தோல்வி என்பது சகஜம் இனி எதிர் வரும் காலத்தில் வியூகத்தை மாற்றி செயல் பட வாய்ப்பு உள்ளது என எதிர்பார்க்கலாமா?

we learn from this incident, people know everything. politician learn lot from this failure. dont talk rubbish matters for the election victory. politician think probloms about our people and our country. they got vote from our county , concern about our people . people are not stupid, u talk anything get vote. in future they do good for people need . If they want cheat the people, they leave from political and go sleep the house better

PMK never speak bad words like JJ. secondly Anbumani roamdoss fighting for Cigerate ban was good. Above all people not selected mr R Velu Arakonnam candidate - he is a well organised IAS officer. he compeltes the project then cleberate un like mr TRB celeberate and then do project. But both DMDK , PMK has lost because they didnt speak correcly and at correct time on Srilankan tamil issue.

An excellent analysis. Ramdoss is definitely a over rated politician. He has earned the wrath of common people thro offensive acts like tree cutting, giving seat to rowdies like kaaduvetti guru. He deserves this poll results. People have taught him a lesson. Now it is the turn for ADMK and DMK to give their quota to PMK. This is party haven''t got even 2% of people''s confidence even after being in the politics for 10+ years. It is shame on u Ramdoss.

in the world there is only one party which is celebrating it''s defeat is DMDK. they took the money from DMK for standing alone and they did their job effectively. what has DMK achieved lost three years. power crisis, poor facilities, deteriorating law and order, rowdyism, kaveri water, hogenekkal project etc. etc. one rupee rice is for ministers to make some extra money. color tv is only for the party cadres not much for general public. free land never a realistic possibility because there is isn''t so much of land to give. DMK won purely because of DMDK''s split politics and money power. they can never bear ADMK straight. still it''s puzzling how Chidamabaram won. for Captain alias Agent continue feasting with your lost candidates because your services will be required in two years time by the DMK.

Where is Mr.R.Anbumani? While in his Election Meeting peoples with him only. Now where he is hiding? come on man.. Now DMK and AIADMK Known the PMK is not usable even as Pickle in the elections. In India, can anyone point out a party which stands alone always, not changing anytime? only DMK-ADMK have not formed alliance among them. similarly at India level, Cong-BJP dont form an alliance among themselves. Individually, has congress not switched between various parties? What about DMK? once in congress, then in BJP,again with congress? ADMK also did the same? Why people are not blaming these parties, which also don''t have any policy other than catching power by any combination/method? so when smaller parties do it , you people blame them. when daughter-in-laws(PMK,communists, MDMK,etc) break the pot, it is made of gold. when mother-in-laws(congress,BJP,DMK,ADMK) break , is it made of mud? So called 10% vote bank of DMDK is bogus because of two reasons. 1. All the parties are in alliances. 2. No major parties, other than fringe paries/caste based parties, are contesting alone. Hence people who don''t want to vote DMK or ADMK alliance but still want to vote, they only vote for DMDK. The votes secured by DMDK is not for DMDK, it is against DMK/ADMK. Let PMK, MDMK,VCK,Communists,DMK,ADMK stand alone in the elections. Let us see where 10% of DMDK will be??

Nice article. Good lesson for PMK. Please ignore him. If ADMK rejected him they will get another 7 seats easily. So my best advise to both DMK and ADMK is not to consider him in the fortjh coming elections. If PMK has confident, prove him to get atleast 1% vote.

It will not be a surprise for Tamil Nadu people, if PMK try to make alignments with either with DMK or with AIADMK during the forthcoming assembly elections. Such a shameless political party they are. It shall be an eye opener for Ramdoss, to assess their own position in Tamil Nadu. Let them stop thinking that they are the king makers. The people of Tamil Nadu had taught lessons to all political parties even to DMK and AIADMK whenever they exceed their limits. Taking the case of Congress, it was not allowed to come alone after the defeat faced by them for TN assembly after 1966 till now. Dr.Ramdoss, Please Don''t take TN people granted for ever.

Well analysis. Thanks to Dinamalar. PMK did not do any favourable to the people when it was having power. It was only protesting to change the title of the tamil films and to change the name boards of banks and etc. to be in tamil. It did not care about the poor people and now it learnt a lesson from voters.

Now its time for DMK & ADMK to think that alliance PMK is of no use. This party is like a monkey jumping from DMK TO ADMK when ever he likes. PMK has no respect in his own town. PMK chief is there only to give statement. MDMK has lost his power as most of his senior guys has jumped to DMK. so no point in joining hands with this party. now DMK & ADMK should learn a lesson from Capt. that he is the one who has splitted the votes and see how he is growing. As other guy informed earlier, if Capt. join hands with other party, then he should return back to pavilion. Hope now DMK should have realised that by throwing money to public, then will win the election as they did now. This will not continue as the public has risen from sleep and after 25yrs polling in chennai has raised to 72% and this will continue in next election. My humble request to all party members that forget all what happened in past and think of future welfare of public .

Dear Editor, The DMDK got vote because of his party is not aliens with either DMK or ADMK , if he is going aliens with DMK or ADMK than Vijayakanth party, might gat only 5 -10 % of vote camper to what his part get now. Please don’t under estimate that he his able get same amount of when his party associate with other party. One MDMK party decides aliens with other party his party also like PMK or MDMK etc.

Well written article. An educated man fulfilled his aspiration and his family aspiration by giving false hopes to the poor and illiterate people. He cheated people by the name of the caste. So called vanniyars life has not improved in the last 20 years by voting of PMK. I am glad they finally felt the reality. Ramadoss is much richer now than 20 years back. Caste politics should be destroyed. I think it is nearing its end by looking at the winning margins in the seats PMK contested. Kudos to people of north TN.

Excellent article! All parties should show their strength by contesting alone. Once the elections are over, then they may join together to form a government. By doing that, the weakness of these caste parties like PMK, VC, MMK, etc. will be exposed. The parties that have been around for decades (like INC, BJP, DMK, ADMK) do not have the COURAGE to contest alone. Why?

yet another excellent article. Vote percentage is a ill defined term in tamilnadu politics as the political parties are often going to polls with some kind of coalition arrangement. vote percentage can apply for the coalition not for the indidual parties in the coaltion.
