ஸ்டாக்ஹோம், அக்.7: 2011-ம் ஆண்டுக்கான அமைதிக்கான நோபல் பரிசை 3 பேர் வென்றுள்ளனர். எல்லன் ஜான்சன் சர்லீஃப், லேய்மாஹ் ஜிபெளவீ மற்றும் தவக்குல் கர்மன் ஆகியோருக்கு இந்த ஆண்டுக்கான நோபல் பரிசு பிரித்து வழங்கப்படுகிறது. பெண்கள் பாதுகாப்பு மற்றும் பெண்களுக்கான உரிமைகளுக்காக அகிம்சை வழியில் போராடியதற்காக இவர்களுக்கு இந்த விருதுகள் கிடைத்துள்ளன.எல்லன் ஜான்சன் சர்லீஃப் லைபீரியாவின் தற்போதைய அதிபர் ஆவார். ஜனநாயகரீதியில் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்ட முதல் பெண் அதிபர் இவர் என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது. 2006-ல் இவர் அதிபராகப் பதவியேற்றுக் கொண்டது முதலே லைபீரியாவில் அமைதியை நிலைநாட்டுவதற்காக பாடுபட்டவர். மேலும் பெண்களின் நிலையை வலுப்படுத்தவும், சமூக மேம்பாடு மற்றும் பொருளாதாரத்தை ஊக்குவிக்கவும் பாடுபட்டவர்.லேமா ஜிபெளவீ ஒரு ஆப்ரிக்க அமைதி ஆர்வலர். அமைதிக்கான இயக்கத்தை ஏற்படுத்தி லைபீரியாவின் 2-வது சிவில் போரை 2003-ல் முடிவுக்குக் கொண்டுவந்தவர். மேலும் தேர்தல்களில் பெண்களின் பங்களிப்புக்கு உறுதி ஏற்படுத்திக் கொடுத்தவர்.தவக்குல் கர்மான் ஏமனில் ஜனநாயகம் மற்றும் அமைதிக்காகவும் பெண்களின் உரிமைக்காகவும் நடைபெற்ற போராட்டத்தில் முக்கியப் பங்காற்றியவர்.இந்த மூவருக்கும் அளிக்கப்பட்டுள்ள நோபல் பரிசு மூலம் இன்னும் பல்வேறு நாடுகளில் பெண்களுக்கான உரிமைகள் நசுக்கப்பட்டு வருவதை முடிவுக்குக் கொண்டுவர உதவிபுரியும் என்று எதிர்பார்க்கப்படுகிறது.
