Competition mounts in engineering

 genocidal Sri Lanka

South Africa's Cyril Ramaphosa was on a secret mission to Colombo last weekend. Mr. Tony Blair, who was the British Prime Minister during the genocidal onslaught of Eezham Tamils was in the island on a two weeks tour since 11 August. US Assistant Secretary of State Nisha Biswal and another US official are in Colombo. The section of Sinhala Buddhist elements in the mission or payroll of protecting Rajapaksa, who openly took a China line earlier this year, connected the dots to depict IC conspiracy, by linking Ramaphosa to the ICG and to a CIA mission. In response, the South African Government on Tuesday announced that Mr Ramaphosa was no longer connected to the ICG. The hectic visits and the recent Indian media scurry in claiming hold on affairs as well as 'guidance' for domestic investigation, signal only mounting competition in stabilizing the genocidal State with new local partners.

In the meantime, informed diplomatic circles in Colombo told TamilNet Tuesday that reshuffling of certain ambassadors in Colombo also indicated upgraded level of confidential diplomatic engagement.

On Ramphosa, Shenali D Waduge, who was earlier a sponsored writer of the defense outfit of genocide-accused Gotabhaya Rajapaksa, wrote the following on 23 August:

“Cyril Ramphosa is a member of George Soro’s International Crisis Group playing the role of senior advisor. His ICG colleagues include Louise Arbor, ICG’s President & CEO who was also the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights from 2004 to 2008 as well as Chief Prosecutor for the International Criminal Tribunals for the Former Yugoslavia and Rwanda. Ramaphosa is also joined in the ICG by Kofi Annan, former UNSG and Nobel Peace Prize winner 2001. Wesley Clark, former NATO supreme allied commander, Gareth Evans, former Foreign Minister of Australia are also members of ICG. Would it also surprise anyone that 2 of the investigators investigating Sri Lankan war crimes are Asma Jahangir and Martti Ahtisaari who is the Chairman Emeriti of the ICG.”

Shenali, noting “[i]t is no wonder that even South Africans are wondering exactly which side of the fence Ramaphosa is on,” also went on record with the following: “The man travelling to preach to Sri Lanka about reconciliation is himself another black man pulled by the white man’s strings. We are seeing strings of these now being used by the West who have found that Americanized Asians/Africans go after their own with far more vengeance than the whites.”

Writer Shenali was behind several controversial write-ups in the past that served the purposes of genocidal Sri Lanka's military intelligence.

The South African Presidency on Tuesday issued the following news release:

Deputy Pres resigned from International Crisis Group

Pretoria - Since his appointment in government, Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa has resigned from the International Crisis Group which is doing work in Lesotho, Sri Lanka and South Sudan, says the Presidency.

“Deputy President Ramaphosa was previously involved with the organisation before he was appointed in government. Since his assumption of a role in government, Deputy President Ramaphosa resigned from the International Crises Group and was replaced in his role by Ms. Cheryl Carolus,” the Presidency said on Tuesday, following media reports of his involvement in the organisation.

The Presidency said Deputy President Ramaphosa is only a Special Envoy of President Jacob Zuma to Sri Lanka.

He was announced a Special Envoy for Sri Lanka in February 2014 during State of the Nation Address by President Zuma.

One of the cornerstones of the South African initiative in Sri Lanka is to consult with stakeholders within and external to Sri Lanka as part of South Africa’s initiatives aimed at promoting a lasting political solution, peace initiatives, truth-telling and reconciliation in Sri Lanka.

This includes some members of the Sri Lankan Tamil Diaspora.

The Presidency further dismissed media reports that Deputy President Ramaphosa visited Sri Lanka over the weekend, saying he merely refuelled in Colombo en route to Japan for his working visit.

All the competitive engineering ultimately leads to a point that Rajapaksa is not important, but the genocidal State, its genocidal unity and integrity, the genocidal paradigm of achieving interests and finally the knack of getting absolution by the hoodwink of showing crumbs to a righteous national question, are important, commented Tamil activists for alternative politics in the island.
