‘Global War’ to wage genocide, ‘domestic mechanism’ to confirm structural genocide
[TamilNet, Wednesday, 26 August 2015, 17:49 GMT]
The USA that designed the ‘International Community’ genocidal onslaught on the national question of Eezham Tamils in the name of Global War on Terror (GWOT) and the agent State in Colombo that conducted it on the ground will move in collaboration in the UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC) session in September for a ‘domestic mechanism’ of investigation, which is sure to confirm and institutionalise the on-going structural genocide in the island. The announcement in this regard, immediately following the parliamentary elections, confirms the crux of the agenda for which electoral politics was engineered in the island, commented Tamil activists for alternative politics. Eezham Tamils, who have wasted their time, energy and money on a deceptive political course, designed by the ultimate culprits, should at least now think of a different paradigm of polity, the activists further said.
The USA now supports a local investigation that the new Sri Lanka government of President Maithripala Sirisena has promised, the Associated Press reported on Wednesday citing Ms. Nisha Biswal, the US Assistant Secretary of State, who was briefing select media in Colombo.
Ms Biswal was revealing the US intimation to Geneva on Monday.
“The United States has announced on Monday in Geneva that it will be offering a resolution in the September session of the Human Rights Council. We have also expressed our hope that it will be a resolution which we hope to offer collaboratively, working with the government of Sri Lanka and with other key stake holders,” Biswal was quoted as saying on Wednesday by the AP.
“The announcement by the visiting Assistant Secretary of State Nisha Biswal of a joint resolution with the Sri Lankan government presents a major shift by the U.S.,” the report further said.

P.K. Balachandran reporting for the New Indian Express from Colombo titled his story as “US To Collaborate With Lanka In Drafting UNHCR Resolution On War Crimes”.
The drafting of the “collaborative” resolution on Lanka is not going to be easy because there are “important constituencies” both within and outside Lanka which care about what is happening in the island nation, The New Indian Express reported citing Tom Malinowski, the US Assistant Secretary of State for Democracy, Human Rights and Labor, who accompanied Ms Biswal to Colombo.
The TNA has said “it will accept a domestic investigation if it has international participation,” the Indian report further said.
“We cannot get justice if it is purely a Lankan domestic mechanism. It has to be an internationalized investigation. The involvement of international experts is a must. We would also like the Office of the High Commissioner of Human Rights to set up a monitoring unit here,” the report quoted TNA parliamentarian M.A. Sumanthiran as saying after meeting Biswal and Malinowski in Colombo on Wednesday.

The TNA, especially Mr Sumanthiran, has made a fundamental mistake in showing agreeability to domestic mechanism in recent times. The USA has not come to this ‘major shift’ without assessing the capacity of ‘gullibility’ of Tamils.
Mr Sumanthiran worked hard to prove it in the elections, commented Tamil activists for alternative politics.

Mr Tom Malinowski has also issued a statement to the press in Colombo.
On the military of genocidal Sri Lanka, he said the following, citing the words of US Secretary of State Mr John Kerry: “We’ve talked about the evolution of the armed forces of Sri Lanka – an evolution of the military into a force ‘that projects its power outward to protect its people, not inward to police them.”
Considering its geopolitical context and international patronage coming from all the imperialisms, the genocidal Sri Lanka need not have a military at all, other than for fighting the nation of Eezham Tamils. Therefore, whether Kerry's outlook for this military is to engage it in other genocidal contexts designed by the USA, is the question, commented the Tamil activists.

On accountability, Mr Malinowski observed: “[t]hese are not Northern issues or Southern issues, these are not Tamil issues or Sinhalese issues, these are concerns that unite virtually everyone in the country.”
“Of course we all know that there will be important events next month in Geneva as the international community and the government discuss the report that is coming out,” Malinowski said.
The US official went on stating that the new Sri Lankan government has “defended the interests of Sri Lanka without being defensive”.
“It has acknowledged the need for truth-telling and accountability. In so doing, it has won a tremendous degree of trust and confidence, and in turn that trust and confidence has allowed the government the space and the time to pursue its agendas. So it is our hope and expectation that the government will continue that approach through September and beyond.”
“[...] Now that may take some time. There are other things perhaps can happen sooner that can also contribute to this process of building confidence and trust.”
The domestic mechanism, while the genocidal military remains on the ground, would put Tamil civilians once again in direct confrontation with the occupying Sinhala military. But, the agent and the ultimate culprits will go scot-free. This also will fundamentally discourage Tamils from having any interest in participating in any investigation. The agenda is to diffuse ultimate accountability, commented Tamil activists for alternative politics.

New Delhi on three earlier occasions was openly sitting on any substantial resolution against the genocidal State in the island.
In the recent days, the Indian media was in a scurry to project the ‘electoral engineering’ in the island as New Delhi's credit towards making Tamils docile and saving the genocidal State in the island.
The Hindu's N. Ram went to the extent of giving the lead to Ranil Wickramasinghe that domestic mechanism has now become a ‘consensus’ in the island.
However, the USA was more competitive enough in hijacking the credit by the ‘major shift’ mentioned by the Associated Press headquartered in New York.

By adopting opportunistic collaboration with the international dadas, Mahinda Rajapaksa achieved the opportunity for the Sinhala Buddhist genocidal elements to celebrate with crackers in 2009. By following the same line, Maithiri-Ranil regime presents another occasion for cracker celebration.
But, the Sampanthan-Sumanthiran polity of collaboration is going to be stressed out in researching on what could be said to fool the Eezham Tamils further on their ‘achievements’ of collaboration, commented the Tamil activists.
It will be a blessing in disguise for politicians like Gajendrakumar Ponnambalam and Prof S K Sitrampalam, who have not gone into the SL parliament, for they are reserved for the next line of substantial polity and will not go into history as actors of a deceptive play scripted by the ultimate culprits. If they are not prepared in their orientation and guts for non-parliamentary ground politics, the next generation would take that up, the activists further said.
