TNPF to reveal position on SL presidential election on Wednesday

Gajendrakumar Ponnambalam is to announce its position on the upcoming
Sri Lankan presidential election at a media briefing scheduled to be
held on December 17 in Colombo, Mr Gajendrakumar Ponnamblam said in
response to journalists in Jaffna on Monday.
In the meantime, the media spokesman of the Tamil National Alliance (TNA) Mr Suresh Premachchandran has told journalists that the TNA would be announcing its decision once the TNA Parliamentary Group Leader Mr R.Sampanthan arrives from India.
However, the TNA spokesperson has gone on record stating that the TNA was opposed to the idea of boycotting the SL presidential election.
