தேர்வாணைய மொழியா தமிழ்?

சமீபத்தில் நடந்து முடிந்த தமிழ்நாடு அரசுப் பணியாளர் தேர்வாணையத்தின் தொகுதி - நான்காம் நிலைக்கான வினாத்தாளில் மாணவர்களுக்கான அறிவுரைகள் பகுதியில் 12-ஆம் அறிவுரையாக ""101 முதல் 200 வரையிலான வினாக்களில் ஆங்கில வடிவில் கொடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ள குறிப்புகளே முடிவானதாகும். For Question No.101-200 in all matters and in cases of doubg the English version is final' என்று குறிப்பிடப்பட்டுள்ளது. இந்த அறிவுரை தமிழ் மொழியைச் சிறுமைப்படுத்துவதாகவே உள்ளது. அரசுப் பணியாளர் தேர்வாணையம் நடத்துகின்ற தேர்வுகளுக்கான விடைத்தாள்கள் பல கட்ட பரிசோதனைகளுக்குப் பிறகுதான் முடிவு செய்யப்படுகின்றன. துறை சார்ந்த பேராசிரியர்களால் நன்கு கவனமாகத்தான் வினாத்தாள் தயாரிக்கப்படுகிறது. ஓரிரு அச்சுப் பிழைகளைத் தவிர வினாத்தாளின் உள்ளடக்கத்தில் பிழை ஏற்படுவதற்கான வாய்ப்பு மிக மிகக் குறைவு. இந்த அறிவுரை அறிவியல் பாடங்களில் இருந்து கேட்கப்படும் வினாக்களின் மொழி பெயர்ப்பில் ஏற்படுகின்ற பிரச்னைகளைச் சுட்டிக்காட்டுவதற்காக உள்ளது என்று வைத்துக் கொண்டாலும், அறிவியல் வினாக்கள் பெரும்பாலும் அரசு வெளியிட்டுள்ள பாடநூல்களில் இருந்துதான் கேட்கப்படுகின்றன. அரசு வெளியிடுகின்ற பாடநூல்களும் பல கட்ட பரிசீலனைகளுக்குப் பின்தான் வெளியிடப்படுகின்றன. எனவே மொழி பெயர்ப்பு சம்பந்தமான பிரச்னைகள் வருவதற்கு வாய்ப்புகள் குறைவு. அப்படி ஏதாவது சந்தேகங்கள் இருந்தாலும் வினாத்தாளை இறுதி செய்வதற்கு முன் தமிழ் மொழியில் உள்ள பாடநூல்களுடன் ஒப்பிட்டு சரி செய்து விட முடியும். மிகப் பெரும் வலைப் பின்னலுடன் கூடிய கட்டமைப்பைக் கொண்ட தேர்வாணையத்தால் இதுபோன்ற சிக்கல்களைத் தேர்வுக்கு முன்னதாகவே சரி செய்து விட முடியும்.
வினாத்தாளில் வெளியாகின்ற கேள்விகள் தமிழ் மொழியில் சரியாக இருந்து ஆங்கில மொழியில் தவறுகள் இருந்தால் அப்போது இந்த அறிவுரை எந்த அளவில் கவனத்தில் கொள்ளப்படும்? ஆங்கில மொழியில் உள்ள கேள்விகளில் பிழையே ஏற்படாதா? தமிழ் வழியில் கல்வி பயின்ற ஒருவர் கேள்வித்தாளுக்கு விடையளிக்கும்போது ஒவ்வொரு முறையும் ஆங்கில வினாவையும் படித்துப் புரிந்து கொண்டு இரண்டு வினாக்களும் ஒரே பொருளுடையன என்று உணர்ந்து பின்தான் விடையளிக்க வேண்டுமா? ஆங்கில வழியில் பயின்று தமிழ் தெரியாத ஒருவர் ஆங்கில வினாவை மட்டும் படித்து விடை எழுதினால் போதுமா? இந்தத் தேர்வுகளில் பொதுத் தமிழைப் போலவே, பொது ஆங்கிலமும் ஒரு பாடமாக உள்ளது என்பது இங்கு குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது. அதன்படி தமிழே தெரியாத ஒருவர் தேர்வாணையத்தின் தேர்வுகளில் பங்கு பெற்று வெற்றி பெறுவதற்கான வாய்ப்புகள் தமிழ் வழியில் படித்து தேர்வு எழுதுபவர் வெற்றி பெறுவதற்கான வாய்ப்புகளைவிட அதிகம் என்பது நிதர்சனமான உண்மை.
தமிழ்நாட்டில் ஆங்கில மோகம் பெருக்கெடுத்து ஓடுவதால் அரசே ஆங்கில வழிக் கல்வியை அரசுப் பள்ளிகளில் அறிமுகப்படுத்த வேண்டிய நிலைக்குத் தள்ளப்பட்டிருக்கிறது. அதனால் தமிழ்மொழி, கல்வியைப் பொறுத்தவரை படிப்படியாக இரண்டாம் நிலைக்குத் தள்ளப்பட்டு வருகிறது. தேர்வாணையமும் ஆங்கிலத்தை முதன்மைப்படுத்தி தமிழைச் சிறுமைப்படுத்துவதால் வேலைவாய்ப்பிலும் தமிழ் இரண்டாம் நிலைக்குத் தள்ளப்பட்டு வருகிறது. ஒரு மொழி கல்வியிலும் வேலைவாய்ப்பிலும் முக்கியத்துவத்தை இழந்து விடும்போது அதன் வளர்ச்சி எப்படி சாத்தியம்? அதன் இருப்பே கேள்விக்குறியாக இருக்கும்போது செம்மொழி அந்தஸ்து பெற்றிருப்பதால் என்ன பயன்?
இன்றைய உலகில் வேலைவாய்ப்புக்கு ஒரு மொழி உதவும் என்றால் அதைக் கற்றுக் கொள்வதற்கும் அதற்காக மெனக்கெடவும் பலர் தயாராக இருக்கிறார்கள். சீனர்கள் ஆங்கிலம் கற்று வருவதே இதற்கு சான்று. நம்நாட்டிலும் பலர் பிரெஞ்சு, ஸ்பானிஷ், ஜப்பானிய மொழிகளைக் கற்றுக் கொள்கிறார்கள்.
தமிழ் மட்டுமே தெரிந்தவரோ, ஆங்கிலம் மட்டுமே தெரிந்தவரோ அரசுப் பணிக்கு வருவதை விட தமிழும் ஆங்கிலமும் தெரிந்தவர்கள் வருவதை வரவேற்கலாம். அதற்காக தேர்வுப் பாடத் திட்டத்தில் பொதுத் தமிழ் அல்லது பொது ஆங்கிலம் என்று இருப்பதை மாற்றி 50 வினாக்கள் தமிழுக்கும் 50 வினாக்கள் ஆங்கிலத்திற்கும் ஒதுக்கலாம். மொழிப் பாடங்களில் குறைந்தபட்ச மதிப்பெண்கள் மட்டும் பெற்றால் போதும் என்று வைத்துக் கொண்டு தரவரிசைப் பட்டியல் தயாரிக்கும்போது மொழிப் பாடங்களில் பெற்ற மதிப்பெண்களைத் தவிர்த்து விடலாம். வங்கித் தேர்வுகளில் ஆங்கிலப் பாடத்துக்கான மதிப்பெண்கள் தரவரிசைப் பட்டியல் தயாரிக்கும்போது கணக்கில் எடுத்துக் கொள்ளப்படுவதில்லை என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது. பொறியியல் பட்டதாரிகள் பலரும் தற்போது அரசுத் தேர்வுகளை எழுதத் தயாராகி வருவதால் ஆங்கிலத்திற்கான கொடி உயரே பறப்பதற்கான வாய்ப்புகளே அதிகம். மொழிப் பாடத்தைத் தேர்வு செய்யும் போது "இது அல்லது அது' என்ற வாய்ப்பும் பொது அறிவு வினாக்களில் ஆங்கில மூலமே இறுதியானது என்ற அறிவுரையும் தமிழைப் படுகுழியில் தள்ளிவிடுவதற்கு போதுமானவை.

EPC opposes affiliation of Trinco campus with universities in South

The Eastern Provincial Council (EPC) has unanimously adopted a motion against the proposed affiliation of the Trincomalee campus of the Eastern University with the Rajarata University of Anuradhapura or with the Jayewardanapura University in Colombo. The motion was moved at EPC's September session by the Leader of the Opposition Mr C.Thandayuthapani, the group leader of the Tamil National Alliance (TNA) in the council. Mr R.Thurairatnam, TNA’s Batticaloa district councillor seconded the motion.

Mr.Thandayuthapani said that the Trincomalee campus has been functioning as a full-fledged campus of the Eastern University, currently located in Vanthaa'rumoolai in Batticaloa district since 15 June 2001.

Earlier, from 1993 the Trincomalee campus had been functioning as an Affiliated University College of the Eastern University, according to a gazette notification.

Tamil educationists in the North-East in the 1950s made a demand to establish a Tamil University in Trincomalee and the land had also been allocated for the construction of it. But it never materialized.

After the campus was established, there was a move initiated by the Colombo education authorities to affiliate the Trincomalee campus with the Rajarata University in Anuradhapura. However, due to the protest by the Trincomalee civil society, the matter was dropped.

Then again, another move has now been mooted by occupying Colombo's education ministry to affiliate the Trincomalee campus with the Colombo Jayewardenepura University.

The effort to affiliate the Trincomalee University Campus in the country of Eezham Tamils with the universities in the Sinhala provinces is viewed as a crucial step in the process of Sinhalicisation of Trincomalee that is now undertaken in an accelerated way by genocidal Colombo with the blessings of outside powers.

The Sinhalicisation process, taking place inside the Trincomalee University Campus itself has made news in recent times.

Annihilation of any form of territorial identity of Eezham Tamils is the thrust of the LLRC recommendations, the implementation of which have been made into an ‘international obligation’ by Washington and New Delhi.

New Delhi Foreign Minister’s reference in Jaffna last week on making Sri Lanka a ‘trilingual country’ implies making Tamils as subjugated minorities throughout the island. The statement also bares the outlook of New Delhi on Colombo’s structural genocide programmes such as the one now planned for the Trincomalee University Campus, said educational circles in Trincomalee.

The present EPC motion requests the SL Higher Education Ministry and the SL University Grants Commission not to affiliate Trincomalee campus with the Rajarata University or Jayewardanapura University.

The motion was unanimously passed with the support of councillors of the ruling United People Freedom Alliance (UPFA), and Sri Lanka Muslim Congress (SLMC).

Trincomalee campus is located 12 km from Trincomalee city, at Koa'nesapuri in Nilaave'li in 350 acres of land.

Currently, the Trincomalee campus comprises Faculty of Communication and Business Studies, Faculty of Applied Sciences and Faculty of Siddha Medicine.

More than five hundred students are enrolled in the campus.

Anti-Eezham fanaticism in India cites NPC to save Colombo on CHOGM

On Monday, writing a letter to DMK chief Karunanidhi, requesting him to persuade Thoazhar Thiyagu to call off his fast unto death campaign, New Delhi Establishment’s Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said that “ a decision on the issue of my participation in the CHOGM conference will be taken only after considering all relevant factors, including the sentiments of your party and the Tamil people.” On Tuesday, Chennai-based V. Suryanarayan, who has spent a lifetime in serving New Delhi’s security–intelligence outfits and in opposing independence of Eezham Tamils, wrote that if New Delhi boycotts CHOGM it will harm the NPC ‘experiment’ and “it would be playing into the hands of the fanatical sections among the Tamil diaspora.”

Tamils in the island, in Tamil Nadu and in the diaspora have to carefully peruse how the NPC ploy is now used to save the genocidal culprits in Colombo and their perpetrators in the outside Establishments.

It should also be clear why C.V. Wigneswaran, installed by New Delhi by ingenious manipulation of the opportunity of voting, was condemning CHOGM boycott call, even before his election.

The worst blow to the self-respect of Tamils all over the world is the thinking in the Establishments and in their decades-long ‘advisory’ sections that the Stateless nation of Tamils that was led into genocide by deceit and by keeping the world blind by engineering information, could easily be deceived in politics too, without conceding anything fundamental.

“What could you do about it if we all in the Establishments have decided for it,” is the attitude that is shown to Tamils and that is systematically orchestrated in the psy-op campaigns.

Tamils could do a lot if they could realise the ultimate adversaries in the Establishments and the illusions created by them.

As a beginning, elected NPC members in the North could take a stand on the CHOGM, ignoring Wigneswaran, so that Manmohan Singh and the world will know what Tamils in the island think. Eezham Tamils who have voted in the NPC election also will know about the candidates they have voted in the New Delhi-engineered election.

Knowing how the DMK chief was deceived, or allowed himself and along with him took the entire Tamil Nadu to get deceived by New Delhi during the genocidal war, Tamil Nadu should be prepared for a struggle of proving geopolitical strength not only to New Delhi but also to Washington and London.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Ms. Jayalalithaa has passed a unanimous resolution in the State Assembly in 2011, calling for New Delhi to facilitate indictment of Sri Lanka for war crimes and crimes against humanity at the UN. The resolution also called for economic sanctions by India against Sri Lanka.

In 2013, initiated by the Chief Minister, the State Assembly once again passed a unanimous resolution, this time calling for an UN-conducted referendum among Eezham Tamils in the island as well as in the diaspora on the question of a separate Eezham. The resolution also reiterated the earlier resolutions, specifying that the investigation should be on the crime of genocide along with war crimes.

As none of the resolutions by the representatives of Tamil people has been honoured by New Delhi, and as the ultimate outcome is a bold hoodwink in the name of ‘experimenting’ with an already existing NPC under a unitary constitution, Tamil Nadu should get a cue that the genocide investigations have to be first carried out in India itself.

Perhaps, conducting such an investigation in India on the decades-long facilitators of Eezham Tamil genocide will almost be like conducting an international investigation, and this could effectively arrest all further plans of genocide, now unrestrictedly designed and carried out by all sort of extra-parliamentary elements in India. Demand for such an investigation could be in the manifesto of Tamil Nadu parities thinking of next coalition at New Delhi.

The diaspora may have to come out of its ‘articulators’ who virtually serve the Establishments by hijacking and sitting on any international struggle of Eezham Tamils.

Aspiring for Tamil Eelam is a righteous right of every Eezham Tamil coming from a long genocide-affected nation.

While the demand for international investigation on Sri Lanka's genocide and the right of the diaspora to have a say in the referendum on a separate Tamil Eelam are matters unanimously resolved in the State Assembly by the people’s representatives in Tamil Nadu, whom Suryanarayan is referring to as “fanatical sections among the Tamil diaspora?”

Either by advising the security-intelligence outfits of New Delhi or by relaying their views to engineer opinion, a mandate-less esoteric group, fanatically opposed to the independence of Eezham Tamils, was long contributing and is contributing to genocide. This itself is a matter for political as well as academic investigation in India.

The Chennai-based, retired Senior Professor V. Suryanarayan’s advice for India to not boycott CHOGM in order to facilitate the NPC “experiment” under the “highly respected Chief Minister Wigneswaran,” and to not “play into the hands of the fanatical sections among the Tamil diaspora,” appeared in the website of the Institute of Peace and Conflict Studies (IPCS) in New Delhi, directed by Dr. D. Suba Chandran.

In a move to sideline the Northern Provincial Council, the occupying Colombo is to appoint new ‘district-level development ministers’ under its central command by SL presidential sibling and ‘Economic Development’ Minister Basil Rajapaksa, informed circles in Colombo said. Colombo plans to offer the portfolio to a Tamil parliamentarian of UNP who has recently joined the UPFA, although the SL minister Douglas Devananda was promised the ministry earlier, the sources further said. A paramilitary operative, Uthayarasa, of the so-called Sri-TELO is seeking the portfolio in Vavuniyaa where the paramilitary served Colombo earlier. A Sinhala person would be appointed to Mullaiththeevu and a Muslim minister in UPFA is vying for the portfolio in Mannaar, the sources said.

According to the ‘recommendation’ of the LLRC, which is Sri Lanka’s blueprint for securing international recognition to the ongoing structural genocide, districts should be the units and there should be no ethnic-districts.

The Colombo government, which seeks to undermine even the meager powers ‘vested’ with the provincial councils is attempting to recreate the saga of failed District Development Councils, the sources said citing Colombo’s attempt to bring in Amendments and new bills.

The appointment of district-level ministers is expected to take place on 24 October 2013.

Sri Lanka, having at least 66 ministers, would again be described as having a jumbo cabinet when it announces further 25 district level ministers.

A Director of Operations at Ineqe Group Ltd., a Belfast-based Security Agency and a Non Executive Director of the same security outfit, which has project links to British Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and the British International Development Ministry, were seconded from the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) and deployed to Sri Lanka by the FCO to act as “critical friends” to the Sri Lankan Police and to provide “hands-on assistance” during the final phase of the war, Corporate Watch has discovered through a Freedom of Information request to the PSNI, news reports in UK said on Tuesday.

“It has now emerged UK police training in Sri Lanka continued even during the bloodiest months of the war,” said Belfast Telegraph, on the latest revelation by the Corporate Watch.

The Director of Operations at the Inege Group, Mr Gary White, and Non Executive Director Mr Duncan McCausland were the ‘Critical Friends’ who were ordered to assist the Sri Lankan Police.

The Corporate Watch, which recently revealed how 3,500 SL police officers – including some senior commanders – received training from the Scottish Police College since 2007, releasing the latest report on the Ineqe assistance, also said that the British police has been secretly advising the Sri Lankan forces since the Thatcher era.

Some excerpts from the Corporate Watch report follow:

“Training police abroad is nothing new for the pair. தமிழர் தந்தை சி.பா.ஆதித்தனாரின் மூத்த மகன் பா.ராமச்சந்திர ஆதித்தன். மாலைமுரசு நாளிதழின் நிர்வாக இயக்குனராக இருந்து வந்தார்.
சென்னை அடையாறு காந்திநகர் 3–வது தெருவில் வசித்து வந்த அவர் இன்று காலை 9 மணிக்கு மரணம் அடைந்தார். அவருக்கு வயது 79.
பா.ராமச்சந்திர ஆதித்தன் மரணம் அடைந்த தகவல் அறிந்ததும் பல்வேறு அரசியல் கட்சி பிரமுகர்கள் அடையாறு காந்தி நகரில் உள்ள அவரது வீட்டுக்கு சென்று உடலுக்கு மலர் அஞ்சலி செலுத்தினார்கள்.
பா.ராமச்சந்திர ஆதித்தனின் இறுதிச்சடங்கு நாளை (வியாழக்கிழமை) காலை 10 மணிக்கு நடைபெறுகிறது. அதன்பிறகு பெசன்ட் நகர் மயானத்தில் உடல் தகனம் நடைபெறுகிறது.

சி.பா. ஆதித்தனார் அவர்களின் மூத்த மைந்தர், அருமை நண்பர், பா. ராமச்சந்திர ஆதித்தன் மறைந்து விட்ட செய்தியினை அறிந்து மிகவும் வருந்துகிறேன். தமிழ், தமிழர்கள், பிற்படுத்தப்பட்டோர் நலன் என்பவற்றில் என்றைக்கும் குறையாத அக்கறையும் ஆர்வமும் கொண்டவர் ராமச்சந்திர ஆதித்தன்.

நான் முதல்–அமைச்சராக ஆன போது மிகவும் பெருமைப்பட்டு, மிகவும் பிற்படுத்தப்பட்ட சமுதாயத்தைச் சேர்ந்த ஒருவர் முதல்–அமைச்சராக ஆகியிருக்கிறார் என்றெல்லாம் பாராட்டியவர்.

அவர் மறைவு, தமிழ்ச் சமுதாயத்திற்கும், பத்திரிகை உலகத்திற்கும் ஈடு செய்ய முடியாத பேரிழப்பாகும். அவரை இழந்து வாடும், அவருடைய அருமைச் செல்வன் கண்ணன் ஆதித்தன் உள்ளிட்ட குடும்பத்தாருக்கும், நண்பர்களுக்கும், மாலை முரசு இதழில் பணியாற்றும் தொழிலாளத் தோழர்களுக்கும் என் ஆழ்ந்த இரங்கலைத் தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கிறேன்.

தமிழர் தந்தை சி.பா.ஆதித்தனாரின் தலைமகன், மாலைமுரசு ஏட்டின் அதிபர் ராமச்சந்திர ஆதித்தனார் மறைந்தார் என்ற செய்தி பேரிடியாய் தாக்கியது. அதிர்ச்சியால் மனம் கலங்குகிறேன். தன் தந்தையாரைப் போலவே தமிழ் இனமான உணர்வு கொண்டவராக தமிழ் ஈழ விடுதலை உணர்வாளராகவே வாழ்ந்தார். தமிழர்கள் உரிமைக்காக, தமிழ் ஈழ விடியலுக்காக தனது மாலைமுரசு ஏட்டையும், தான் நடத்திய கதிரவன் பத்திரிகையையும் அர்ப்பணித்தார்.

துன்பப்படுகின்றவர்களுக்கு உதவுகின்ற இரக்க சுபாவம் மிக்கவர். அன்னாரது இளவலான சிவந்தி ஆதித்தனார் மறைந்த ஆறு மாத காலத்திற்குள் ராமச்சந்திர ஆதித்தனாரும் மறைந்த துக்கம் பத்திரிகை உலகத்துக்கு ஈடு செய்ய முடியாத இழப்பாகி விட்டது.

அவரது மறைவால் துயரத்தில் துடிக்கும் அவரது குடும்பத்தினருக்கும், மாலைமுரசு ஏட்டின் செய்தியாளர்கள் மற்றும் அலுவலர்களுக்கும் ம.தி.மு.க.வின் சார்பில் கண்ணீர் அஞ்சலியைத் தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கிறேன்.

தந்தை வழியை பின்பற்றி பத்திரிகை துறையில் தனி முத்திரை பதித்தவர். பாமரர்களும் படிக்கும் வகையில் பத்திரிகை நடத்தி வந்தார். மிகவும் எளிமையானவர். அன்பாக பழகக் கூடியவர். அவரது மறைவு பத்திரிகை துறைக்கு மட்டுமல்ல தமிழகத்துக்கே பேரிழப்பாகும். அவரை இழந்து வாடும் குடும்பத்தினருக்கு, அவரைச் சார்ந்த பத்திரிகை ஊழியர்களுக்கும் அனுதாபத்தை தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கிறேன்.

மாலை முரசு நாளிதழின் நிறுவனர் பா.ராமச்சந்திர ஆதித்தன் இயற்கை எய்தி விட்டார் என்ற தகவல் அறிந்து மிகவும் துயரமடைந்தேன். அனைத்து கட்சித் தலைவர்களின் பேரன்புக்கும் பாத்திரமானவர். அவரது இழப்பு தமிழக மக்களுக்கு, தமிழ்நாட்டிற்கு மிகப்பெரிய இழப்பாகும்.

மதுரை : கொடைக்கானலுக்கு சுற்றுலா வந்த போது, மாரடைப்பால் இறந்த கணவரின் கண்களை, திண்டுக்கல் மருத்துவமனையிலும், உடலை பெங்களூரு மருத்துவ கல்லூரி மருத்துவமனையிலும், தானம் செய்தார் மனைவி.

பெங்களூர் சாமந்த்நகரை ச் சேர்ந்தவர் உமேசுகுமார் ராவ், 53. விமானப் படையில் பணியாற்றி ஓய்வு பெற்ற பின், பெங்களூரில் தனியார் நிறுவனம் ஒன்றில் பணிபுரிந்தார். இவரது மனைவி சிரீலதா, ஆசிரியை. குடும்பத்துடன் நேற்று முன்தினம், கொடைக்கானலுக்கு சுற்றுலா வந்தனர். நள்ளிரவு, 2:00 மணிக்கு, உமேஷ் குமாருக்கு மாரடைப்பு ஏற்பட்டது. அங்குள்ள மருத்துவமனையில் சேர்த்தபோது, அவர் இறந்தது உறுதி செய்யப்பட்டது.

மேலும், இலங்கை சிறையில் அடைக்கப்பட்டுள்ள தமிழகத்தைச் சேர்ந்த இந்திய மீனவர்கள் 65 பேரை விடுவிப்பதற்கு, அங்குள்ள தூதரம் மூலம் உடனடியாக நடவடிக்கை எடுக்கும்படி அவர் கேட்டுக்கொண்டுள்ளார்.

தாம் எத்தனை முறை கடிதம் எழுதினாலும், அதற்கு உரிய நடவடிக்கையே எடுக்கப்படுவதில்லை என்று பிரதமரை குறை கூறியுள்ள முதல்வர் ஜெயலலிதா, மத்திய அரசின் அலட்சியப்போக்கு காரணமாக, இலங்கை கடற்படையினரின் நடவடிக்கைகள் அதிகமாகிவிட்டதாகக் குற்றம்சாட்டியுள்ளார்.

அண்மையில், குஜராத்தையொட்டி கடல் எல்லையில் மீனவர் மீது பாகிஸ்தான் படையினரால் நடத்தப்பட்ட துப்பாக்கிச்சூட்டை உடனடியாக மத்திய அரசு கண்டித்ததுடன், பாகிஸ்தான் துணைத் தூதருக்கு சம்மன் அனுப்பி, துரிதகதியில் செயல்பட்டுள்ளது என்ற விவரம் தனக்கு கிடைத்துள்ளது என்ற முதல்வர் ஜெயலலிதா, தமிழகத்தைச் சேர்ந்த இந்திய மீனவர்களை மட்டும் உதாசீனப்படுத்துவது ஏன் என்று கேள்வி எழுப்பியுள்ளார்.

இந்த பாராமுகம் காரணமாக, தங்கள் சொந்த நாடே தங்களை கைவிட்டுவிட்டது என்ற மன நிலையில் தமிழக மீனவர்கள் உள்ளனர் என்று அவர் குறிப்பிட்டுள்ளார்.

நேரடியாக தலையிடுக

இலங்கை கடற்படையினரால் தமிழகத்தைச் சேர்ந்த மீனவர்கள் தாக்கப்படும் பிரச்சினையில் நேரடியாகத் தலையிட வேண்டும் என்று பிரதமருக்கு அவர் வலியுறுத்தியுள்ளார்.

தற்போது, இலங்கை சிறையில் அடைக்கப்பட்டுள்ள 65 மீனவர்களை விடுவிக்கவும், இலங்கையால் பறிமுதல் செய்யப்பட்ட 35 படகுகளை மீட்டுத் தரவும், இந்தியத் தூதரகம் மூலம் உடனடியாக நடவடிக்கை எடுக்க வேண்டும் என்றும் அவர் கேட்டுக்கொண்டுள்ளார்.
