I also like to suggest the govt for these. 1. conduct employee performance appraisal. 2. fix salary based on performance. 3. serve to the community as you serve your family. In this page most of the readers are opined against the Pay rise for TN Govt. employees. The reasons are as follows: .1.The Govt.servants are not courteous to General public. 2.They demand bribes even for an ordinary work in the offices. 3. They are not tight in their seats and avail more holidays and so on. All Govt.employees are not corruptive. Honest employee will not survive due to circumstances. 1. Supply and service to the visiting Ministers/IAS/IPS officers by the subordinate officials are the main reason for corruption in Govt.offices in Tamilnadu including whole INDIA. 2.Next Transfers/promotions are ordered by Ministers/IAS/IPS officers and bribes are playing a vital role in the matters. The above matters may be examined in detail by the Govt. and take necessary steps to eradicate corruption.

Whenever any person is getting bribe from public (particularly from Poor People) to perform his duty; he/she should feel as if he/she is getting money to sell his/her mother/spouse/children. Dear CM, You are spending 25000 crores from 59000 crores collected from public for just 12 lakh employees i.e you are spending 46% of revenue for just 2% of the total strength of tamilnadu. Even with that the employees are not performing their duty with dedication and devotion. They should realise that they swallow major portion from public distribution and the employees should show little gratitude over them. Please instruct your employees accordingly. Sekar. R

Its very necessary for Govt Employee , even who completed only Degree with 5 year Experience is getting Rs 20000 to 40000 in Pvt concern, but the Collector of the District will get the same, Now Gove should make more vigilance to stop the BRIBE.

All Govt employees - really this increments & incentives given by Chief Minister to all of you is not for your sincere & hardworking for public because everybody knows that All govt employees working only 5 hours a day, And they are earning double than there salary by getting bribe from public, i mean they get double salary to perform their basic duty. one salary from government ( That is also Public Money ) and another salary from those who approach them for any work, All govt employees should work full 8 hours, they must come to duty on time, be polite to the public because they are your owners. For all those who write for and against this government on this issue: The truth is that this is a gift to the government servants who voted enbloc to DMK combine in the last concluded election with their families and relatives. Also it is an inducement and lubrication for the government servants (mafia) who rigged the election in their favour. Mr. Joy, BPO employees having +2 & 3 years experience they are getting 25K per month. Yes of course. They are doing too much work. They have a target. They a have daily, weekly monthly targets. They have to finish all the work in daily basis. They must be able read and write in English. They have a working hours more than 10 hrs per day. They are working in night shift. So they are getting 25K per But Govt.Employees don''t have a any target? Noduty time (8hrs only). Less duty hours. Govt. Employee have a too much leave with salary. No job cut. Don''t worry about global crisis. No tension about your work. U don''t have any recession. U are shouting poor people and some time well educated people. U did not give any respect to people. But they having good salary, increments and allowances. Karuna u will be loss next election.

Total Waste ! 99% employees going after bribe & not working sincerely. Govt. has to privatise all the divisions by holding some stakes or tax. So India will prosper like anything, like Singapore & other developed countries. India itsetlf people are getting good service in public sector compare to Govt. ones.

There is no use having a grudge against this pay rise.. nowadays the even people in the un-organized sector earn heavily thanks to the economic boom.. silently all groceries and other essentials are going to move up which no one can question or contain ... another thing is very few shop owners or small business people or even people who earn more than govt employees do not show it in IT and pay tax while for govt employees all IT is deducted at their office itself.... copare the govt employees to party people who seem to do nothing and still live a high life which is hugely un proportionate to their known income..

Every one is saying wrong about this 6th pay commision, but is it good for the govt employees and it will highly motivate them in future. some people saying it need not to be increased. but i saying it is needed. because they are that much worked to come to this position. In IT company they are paid more even with +2 as qualification. but a group 1 officer of tamil nadu will not get that much salary as IT Professinal. but they are more qualified than IT Professional also serving for the nation and not like IT professional serving for foreign country development. So Govt employees should be motivated by this incentives.

It is a welcome move to raise the salary level.Also ensure that the govt employees are not expecting more from the public by means of bribe.Implement complaint boxes exclusively for bribe in the govt offices which should be addressed by outside agency so that it will be transparent. People are expecting good service from the govt employees than the present.

Goverment is wasting money spending for Goverment staffs Insted of spending for goverment staff spend these money to develop our state in construct new road system, Develop agriculture develop industry etc..... In goverment who is doing these job on time no one including top level management, They are coming to office at 10.30 go for luch at 1.00 and back to work at 2.30 go back home at 5.00. Totally they are spending 5 hours in office then why goverment is paying more to them and additionally they are getting more money in corruption. Goverment has to look after all these things not only keep safe on his position

The salary hike is very resonable when compared with a BPO staff, just put up three years service and having a +2 qualification getting around 25K per month. But TN Govt must ensure No corrouption and dismiss the individuals immdly if get caught of taking bribes

Unnecessary gift to the Govt.Servants. most of whom are non productive. To increase Govt.Revenue, govt.can introduce Thatkal scheme as existing in railways. For Registration office flat 1000 Rs. Rate. For Car licenses ets, flat 300 Rs. for ration card.caste certificates flat 500 Rs. This will help public not to give graft to govt,servants and at the same time fast track also will be in place.

Since this is a hefty rise, hereafter the Govt can not blame they are underpaid. Can we hope corruption would come down heavily and efficiency increase? Govt servants have job security (unlike the I.T field which they always comapare for salary). We will have to wait and see how the finance would be managed by the Govt. But one thing is sure, VOTE!
