Nearly three years after the genocidal war and amidst speedily on-going structural genocide against the nation of Eezham Tamils, the Establishments of the US, India and the UN increasingly prove that they are the real culprits buttressing the genocidal state of Sri Lanka and the crimes-accused Rajapaksa regime. A few individuals sitting in these Establishments take the entire human civilisation for a ride in setting a criminal paradigm for international polity. But, despite the presence of a large number of Tamils in North America, millions in the rest of the diaspora all over the world and 70 million Tamils in Tamil Nadu, Tamils still don’t know where to address and how to address their struggle in a concerted way showing strength and solidarity, for their polity is continually kept under deception, says a new generation Tamil politician in the island.

The LTTE politics operating or come into the diaspora in post-war times failed to translate the momentum shown by people’s demonstrations during the last days of the war into meaningful political struggle addressed against the real ‘godfathers’ of the crime of genocide.
Instead, potential political personalities allowed themselves to be divided between the real culprits or kept silent from their duties, but this could not help either in bringing in political justice to Eezham Tamils or even in helping them personally from being disillusioned, vilified and hunted.
The failure puts the diaspora and Tamils in Tamil Nadu to helplessly watch the unchecked articulation of all shades of stooges, opportunists and deviant characters.
Time has come that direct protests have to be waged against the US, India and the UN, in every part of the world where Tamils could mobilise themselves and mobilise other like-minded nations as well as the world civil society, for without the show of strength and solidarity in some way the course of action of the said Establishments would only madden the already traumatised Eezham Tamils further.

The UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon openly challenges moral norms of universal polity and makes a mockery of the case of Eezham Tamils when he considers appointing war-crimes-accused Sri Lankan General Shavendra Silva into his Special Advisory Group on UN Peacekeeping Operations. The UNSG had earlier signed a MoU to incorporate the genocidal Sinhala military into UN peacekeeping operations.
The US administration has signalled that it would not allow law to take its course against the war-crimes-accused, even in its own land. The US Asst. Secretary of State, who architected the war, repeatedly denies genocide.
Civil groups that held informal talks with the US officials are sceptical about the present US Administration doing anything meaningful either to the war crimes investigation or for substantial political justice to the nation of Eezham Tamils. The officials only find fault in genocide-affected Tamils claiming the right to self-determination, while under the given realties no Tamil negotiator needs to be apologetic about asserting to total independence.
A former Indian diplomat of The Hindu camp recently said that ‘wavering’ of the USA is one of the reasons why India should abandon condemning Sri Lanka on human rights.
Meanwhile, India’s extraordinary efforts in internationally shielding Rajapaksa regime, in denying genocide and in denying due political justice to the nation of Eezham Tamils are open and are well known.

Any genuinely international war crimes investigations cannot take off and will be incomplete without involving some of the international personalities who were openly playing roles in the conduct of the failed peace and war.
The US Asst. Secretary of State Robert Blake, Norway’s failed peace facilitator Erik Solheim, India’s M.K. Narayanan and Shiv Shankar Menon, and the UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon and his chief of staff Nambiar are some of the key personalities who are in a position to answer to the world or in a position to provide first-hand evidence on the war turned genocide.
The naivety of the Tamil struggle is that it has not so far demanded the world about inviting these personalities into an open investigation and about providing facilitations for them in coming out with the truth.
People of Tamil Nadu on their part have registered their protest in various ways to their Establishment. But the large diaspora in North America and elsewhere is yet to do its duty in addressing the USA with mass protest inside and outside, despite the amount of money the diaspora has spent on legal pursuits proving futility but exposing the true face of the current US Administration.
Tamils, especially the diaspora has to make the best use of 2012, which is an election year in the USA.
Initiatives taken by Tamils in Tamil Nadu and global Tamils in effectively addressing the USA may produce better attention. But the first step has to come from the Tamils in the USA.

Norway is shortly convening a meeting of 25 handpicked Eezham Tamils in that country, which will be addressed by the failed peace facilitator Erik Solheim. A follow-up meeting is expected to take place, involving personalities from the island. Meanwhile, the war crimes/genocide case filed in Norway by the Norwegian Council of Eezham Tamils, still awaiting response from the State Counsel on proceeding with the case, is anticipated to receive the same fate of the cases filed in the USA.
Eezham Tamils in Norway should not fail in their international duty in transpiring a message through the meeting that not only orientates their struggle but also shows solidarity in saving peoples of similar plight in Philippines, Myanmar and elsewhere from deception.
