சென்னை, ஆக. 20: தமிழக மீனவர்கள் தாக்கப்படும் சம்பவத்தை மத்திய அரசு மெத்தனமாக கையாளுவதால், இலங்கைக் கடற்படையினர் தொடர்ந்து அச்சமின்றி மீனவர்களைத் தாக்கியும், துன்புறுத்தியும் வருவதாக பிரதமர் மன்மோகன் சிங்குக்கு எழுதியுள்ள கடிதத்தில் முதல்வர் ஜெயலலிதா குற்றம் சாட்டியுள்ளார்.இது குறித்து பிரதமருக்கு அவர் திங்கள்கிழமை எழுதியுள்ள கடித விவரம்: கடந்த 18-ம் தேதி இலங்கை கடற்படையினரால் தமிழகத்தைச் சேர்ந்த அப்பாவி மீனவர்கள் தாக்கப்பட்டும், துன்புறுத்தப்பட்டதுமான துயரமான சம்பவம் குறித்து தங்களின் கவனத்துக்குக் கொண்டு வர விரும்புகிறேன். நாகப்பட்டினம் மாவட்டம், வேதாரண்யத்தை அடுத்த வெள்ளப்பள்ளம், வானவன்மகாதேவி ஆகிய பகுதிகளைச் சேர்ந்த 18 மீனவர்கள் கடந்த 17, 18-ம் தேதிகளில் கண்ணாடி இழையால் செய்யப்பட்ட 5 பிளாஸ்டிக் படகுகளில் மீன் பிடிக்கச் சென்றனர். அவர்கள் அனைவரும் கடந்த 18-ம் தேதி வெள்ளப்பள்ளம் அருகே 90 அடி ஆழம் கொண்ட கடல் பகுதியில் மீன் பிடித்துக் கொண்டிருந்தனர். அப்போது அங்கு டி-146 எண் கொண்ட படகில் வந்த இலங்கை கடற்படையினர் மேற்கூறிய 5 படகுகளில் மீன் பிடித்துக் கொண்டிருந்த மீனவர்களைத் தாக்கியுள்ளனர். மேலும், மீனவர்கள் வைத்திருந்த ஐஸ் பெட்டி, உணவு மற்றும் மீன்பிடி உபகரணங்களைப் பறிமுதல் செய்து கடலில் வீசியுள்ளனர். மீனவர்களின் வலைகளையும் வெட்டி எறிந்துள்ளனர்.தாக்கப்பட்ட மீனவர்களில் ராமையா மகன் குப்புசாமி என்பவர் வலதுகை மணிக்கட்டில் கத்தியால் வெட்டப்பட்டு காயமடைந்துள்ளார். மேலும் 7 மீனவர்கள் மீது கடற்படையினர் ரப்பர் தடியால் தாக்கியதில் அவர்களும் காயமடைந்துள்ளனர். காயமடைந்த மீனவர்கள் கடந்த 19-ம் தேதி கரைக்குத் திரும்பிய பின்பு அனைவருக்கும் நாகப்பட்டினம் அரசு மருத்துவமனையில் சிகிச்சை அளிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.மீன்பிடித் தொழில் மூலம் குறைவான வருமானம் ஈட்டி வரும் ஏழை, அப்பாவி மீனவர்கள் மீது இலங்கை கடற்படையினர் தொடர்ந்து தாக்குதல் நடத்தி வருகின்றனர். இப்போதைய தாக்குதல் அவர்களின் மற்றோர் அக்கிரமமான செயலாகும். இலங்கை கடற்படையினரால் தமிழக மீனவர்கள் தடையின்றி தாக்கப்பட்டு, கொடுமைப்படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ள இந்தச் சம்பவம் என்னை மேலும் துயரமடையச் செய்துள்ளது. நான் ஏற்கெனவே, 23.7.2012-ல் தங்களுக்கு எழுதிய கடிதத்தில், இப் பிரச்னையில் மத்திய அரசு தலையிடாவிட்டால் வரும் மாதங்களில் தாக்குதல் சம்பவம் தொடர வாய்ப்பு உள்ளது என்று கூறியிருந்தேன். இப்போதைய இந்தத் தாக்குதல் சம்பவம் எங்களது சந்தேகத்தை உறுதிப்படுத்தியுள்ளது.தமிழ்நாட்டு மீனவர்கள் தாக்கப்படும் சம்பவத்தை மத்திய அரசு மெத்தனமாக கையாளுவதால் தைரியம் கொண்டுள்ள இலங்கை கடற்படையினர் தொடர்ந்து மீனவர்களை அச்சமின்றி தாக்கியும், துன்புறுத்தியும் வருகின்றனர்.இரு நாடுகளின் தூதரக அளவிலான கூட்டத்துக்குப் பின்பு வெளியிடப்பட்ட அறிவிப்பில், "மீனவர்கள் மீது பலப்பிரயோகம் செய்வதை எந்த வகையிலும் நியாயப்படுத்த முடியாது' என கூறப்பட்டது. அந்த அறிவிப்பு இப்போது காகிதத்தில் மட்டுமே உள்ளது. தூதரகப் பேச்சுவார்த்தை நடைமுறைகளை அலட்சியப்படுத்தி வரும் இலங்கை கடற்படையினர், இந்த அறிவிப்பையும் மீறியுள்ளனர்.எனவே, தாங்கள் இப் பிரச்னையை இலங்கை அரசின் கவனத்துக்கு தீவிரமாக கொண்டு செல்ல வேண்டும். பிழைப்புக்காக தங்களது பாரம்பரிய கடல் பகுதியில் மீன்பிடிக்கும் தமிழக மீனவர்கள் மீது இலங்கை கடற்படையினர் தாக்குதல் நடத்துவது தடுக்கப்பட வேண்டும். இதற்கு கடற்படையினர் அடக்கி வைக்கப்படுவதோடு, எதிர்காலத்தில் இதுபோன்ற தாக்குதல் சம்பவம் நடைபெறாமல் இருப்பதையும் தாங்கள் உறுதி செய்ய வேண்டும். இது தொடர்பாக தங்களது விரைவான நடவடிக்கையை எதிர்பார்க்கிறேன் என முதல்வர் தனது கடிதத்தில் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

Mysterious killings target SLA-collaborators from Vanni

Three men from Vanni, who were allegedly collaborating with the occupying Sri Lankan military in harassing Tamil women for sexual exploitation by the Sinhala soldiers, have been found slain, simultaneously on Sunday night, in Visuvamadu in Vanni and in Oorezhu in Jaffna, according to news reports from Vanni and Jaffna. All those killed were from Vaddakkaachi and Visuvamadu which are located close to each other. Another striking similarity was that the killers have tried to burn down the dead bodies together with the houses of those slain, possibly to conceal the cause of their deaths, police sources said. In the meantime, the occupying Sri Lanka Army has stepped up its presence and checking in recent days.

A 45-year-old man, identified as Sivarasa from Vaddakkachchi in Visuvamadu, who was residing at Oorezhu in Jaffna in recent days, was found axed to death Sunday night.

The house where Mr Sivarasa was residing has been burnt down by the killers. However, the dead body had narrowly escaped destruction from the fire, the SL police in Jaffna said.

33-year-old Velu Vijayakumar was found slain at Redd Barna village in Visuvamadu in Vanni. His body was fully destroyed in the fire. Police sources said Mr Velu Vijayakumar had been strangled to death before being burnt inside the house by the killers.

Vijayakumar has married three times and was allegedly collaborating with the SLA in harassing widows and former LTTE female members.

73-year-old Arunasalam Ramanathan at Visuvamadu, who was living alone at Neththali-aa'ru, which divides Vaddakkachchi and Visuvamadu, was found slain with cut injuries. Mr Arunasalam has been openly collaborating with the SL military and has been widely alleged of identifying female victims for the sexual exploitation by the occupying soldiers.

Many widows who have lost their husbands in the war and former female members of the LTTE have been continuously harassed by the Sri Lankan soldiers.

SLA soldiers alleged of killing father of three in Thenmaraadchi

Occupying Sinhala soldiers of the Sinhala Army, on Wednesday, allegedly beat a recently resettled 47-year-old man, Kandiah Jeyarajah, near A9 highway at Ezhuthumadduvaa'l in Thenmaraadchi, Jaffna. The victim succumbed to his injuries while being rushed to Chaavakachcheari hospital, residents in Ezhuthumadduvaazh village told TamilNet Thursday. The wife of the slain victim also confirmed the allegation that the SLA soldiers were involved in the slaying of her husband, who had got into a quarrel with his brother. The SLA soldiers stationed at the junction had intervened in the private quarrel and when Mr Jeyarajah began to resist, he was severely beaten by the Sinhala soldiers.

The deceased, a father of two sons and a daughter, had recently resettled in his village. His house is located close to the A9 highway. The family was dependent on his income. Mr Jeyarajah owned a lorry.

The occupying soldiers of the SLA are stationed everywhere in Ezhuthumadduvaa'l. They also occupy several private lands and have set up even a restaurant at the junction.

The soldiers had come to the spot where Jeyarajah was chasing his brother with batons and iron rods.

Kodikaamam Police has transferred his body to Jaffna Teaching hospital. The family, fearing further harassment said they would be conducting the funeral in Ariyaalai in Jaffna.

Ezhuthmadduvaa'l is situated near Kizhaali where the SL military had its Forward Defence Line before April 2009.

The Canadian Tamil victim who was allegedly slain by Sri Lankan military-operated killing squad two weeks ago, while he was in Ki'linochchi claiming back his properties appropriated by the occupying military, was severely tortured before he was finally killed, legal sources in Ki'linochchi said. The 53-year-old victim, Mr Andrew Mahendrarajah Anthonippillai, was tortured inside his house by the squad and was chased out of the house and slain. The wristwatch he was wearing at the time of the killing stopped ticking at 8:56 p.m. on the fatal day of 03 May 2012, according to the photos submitted to the courts by the police. Due to legal and international value of the evidence, TamilNet publishes edited photos in black and white, cautioning readers against the strong content.

It seems that the killers had been searching for something and had also dug the land in the vicinity to locate something, probably land-deeds and property ownership documents that the victim had brought from Canada, legal sources further said.

The victim could have been tortured by the Sinhala-speaking squad, which was searching for land-deeds, according to sources in Vanni that were close to the victim during his 3-month stay in Ki'linochchi.

He was not slain by local criminals, as the killers did not steal valuables and the money in his possession, the legal sources further said.

Land deeds were missing in the house, according to SL police sources.

In addition to property-related documents, his laptop and cell-phone had been seized by the killer squad, as earlier reported.

The late Mr Mahendrarajah was confronting the SL military during his stay in Ki'linochci, but secured at the end an appointment with the SL Defence Department in Colombo on the following week. Before his slaying, he was closely monitored. He also had a verbal encounter with the nearby SLA camp the day before his killing.

Photos taken inside the house the following day also document that the room had been searched. Traces of victim's blood inside the house also establish that the torture had begun inside the house, according to the sources.

The victim's male organ seems to have been smashed using mattock by the attackers, the sources further said.

ராமேசுவரம், ஏப். 15: உலகக் கோப்பை கிரிக்கெட் போட்டியில் இந்தியா வெற்றி பெற்றதால் ஆத்திரமடைந்த இலங்கைக் கடற்படை வீரர்கள், தமிழக மீனவர்கள் 4 பேரை சித்ரவதை செய்து படுகொலை செய்து, கடலில் வீசியுள்ளனர் என மதிமுக பொதுச் செயலர் வைகோ தெரிவித்தார்.இலங்கைக் கடற்படையினரால் அண்மையில் படுகொலை செய்யப்பட்ட தங்கச்சிமடத்தைச் சேர்ந்த 3 மீனவர்களின் குடும்பத்தினரை வெள்ளிக்கிழமை வைகோ நேரில் சந்தித்து ஆறுதல் கூறி, தலா ரூ. 25 ஆயிரம் நிவாரண நிதி வழங்கினார். பின்னர், அவர் செய்தியாளர்களிடம் கூறியது:ராமேசுவரத்தில் இருந்து ஏப்ரல் 2-ம் தேதி மீன் பிடிக்கச் சென்ற தங்கச்சிமடத்தைச் சேர்ந்த விக்டஸ், ஜான்பால், அந்தோணிராஜ் மற்றும் கமுதி தாலுகா, வீரசோழன் கிராமத்தைச் சேர்ந்த மாரிமுத்து ஆகிய மீனவர்கள் நடுக்கடலில் மீன் பிடித்துக் கொண்டிருந்தனர்.அப்போது, அன்றைய தினம் நள்ளிரவில் நடந்த உலகக் கோப்பை கிரிக்கெட் போட்டியில் இந்தியா வெற்றி பெற்றது. இந்த வெற்றியைத் தாங்கிக் கொள்ள முடியாத இலங்கைக் கடற்படையினர் ஆத்திரமடைந்து, அங்கு மீன் பிடித்த 4 மீனவர்களின் படகை மடக்கிப் பிடித்துள்ளனர்.பின்னர், மீனவர்களின் கை, கால்களை கயிற்றால் கட்டி கம்பு, அரிவாள் போன்ற ஆயுதங்களால் தாக்கியதில், படகிலேயே 4 பேரும் உயிரிழந்துள்ளனர். பின்னர், மீனவர் விக்டஸின் உடலைத் தூக்கி வீசியுள்ளனர். அந்த உடல் யாழ்ப்பாணம் கடற்கரையில் ஒதுங்கியது.மீதமுள்ள மீனவர்களின் உடலை ஒன்றன்பின் ஒன்றாக தமிழக கடல் எல்லையில் இலங்கைக் கடற்படையினர் தூக்கி வீசியதால், தொண்டி, பாசிப்பட்டினம் கடற்கரையில் அச் சடலங்கள் ஒதுங்கின. மற்றொரு மீனவர் உடலையும் விரைவில் கடலில் வீசுவார்கள். இறந்துபோன விக்டஸ் உடலில் 16 இடங்களில் படுகாயமும், காலில் கயிற்றால் கட்டியதற்கான அடையாளமும், ஜான்பாலின் மணிக்கட்டு கை துண்டித்தும், அந்தோணிராஜ் உடலில் பல்வேறு இடங்களில் வெட்டுக் காயமும் உள்ளன. மீனவர்களுக்கு ஏற்பட்டுள்ள இந்தக் கொடுமை 30 ஆண்டுகளாகத் தொடருகிறது. இக் கொடூரச் செயலைக் கண்டிக்க மத்திய, மாநில அரசுகள் தயாராக இல்லை. இதுகுறித்து ஏப்ரல் 4-ம் தேதி கடிதம் எழுதினேன். இதற்கு மத்திய அரசிடம் இருந்து பதில் இல்லை.இந்தப் படுகொலை குறித்து மதிமுக உயர்நிலைக் குழு சென்னையில் கூடி விவாதித்து, விரைவில் மக்களை திரட்டி மிகப்பெரிய போராட்டத்தை நடத்தும் எனத் தெரிவித்தார் வைகோ.மதிமுக ராமநாதபுரம் மாவட்டச் செயலர் ஜெயராமன், சிவகங்கை மாவட்டச் செயலர் புலவர் செவந்தியப்பன், மதுரை மாநகர் மாவட்டச் செயலர் பூமிநாதன், விருதுநகர் மாவட்டச் செயலர் சண்முகசுந்தரம், மாநில இளைஞரணி துணைச் செயலர் கராத்தே பழனிச்சாமி, மண்டபம் ஒன்றியச் செயலர் பேட்ரிக், மாநில மீனவரணிச் செயலர் நக்கீரன் உள்ளிட்ட நிர்வாகிகள், மீனவர்கள் ஏராளமானோர் இருந்தனர்.மீனவரின் மனைவிக்கு ஆசிரியர் பயிற்சிக்கு நிதியுதவி: இறந்துபோன மீனவர் அந்தோணிராஜின் மனைவி சாலியோனுக்கு (19) ஒரு பெண் குழந்தை உள்ளது. இவர் 12-ம் வகுப்பு படித்துள்ளார். இவர் ஆசிரியர் பயிற்சிக் கல்லூரியில் சேர்ந்து படிக்க ஆகும் செலவைத் தான் ஏற்றுக் கொள்வதாக வைகோ தெரிவித்தார்.
