உறைவிடத் தொழிலாளர் நிலை குறித்து நன்றாக விளக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. அரசின் கவனம் இதில் உள்ள சிக்கல்கள் மேலும் முற்றும் முன் இதன்பால் செலுத்தப்பட வேண்டும். உறைவிடத் தொழிலாளர் நிலையே பல இடங்களில் கொத்தடிமை முறையாக அமைந்துள்ளதையும் முதலாளிக்கும் தொழிலாளிக்கும் இடையே கருத்துப் பிணக்கு ஏற்படும் பொழுது அல்லது தொழிலாளி இடையிலேயே செல்ல விரும்பித் தனக்குரிய ஊதியச் சேமிப்பைக் கோரும் பொழுது குற்றவாளியாக ஆக்கப்படும் நிலையும் பல இடங்களில் உள்ளது. எனவே, அமைப்பு சாராத் தொழிலாளர் நல வாரியம் மூலமாகவாவது உறைவிடத் தொழிலாளர்களின் மேல் கருத்து செலுத்தி உழைப்புக்கேற்ற ஊதியம் கிடைக்கும் வகையில் முறைப்படுத்த வேண்டியது அரசின் கடமையாகும். நலப் பணிகளில் கருத்து செலுத்தக் கூடிய கலைஞர் அரசு நினைத்தால் முடியாதது ஒன்றும் இல்லையே!

If the govt. implements the laws in existance, these women would be unemployed. At present, this is what at best the govt. can do. Instead, it should create reasonably compensated job opportunities through private sector by various means. If one method does not work, try something else. If there is no consideration for market forces to react, the system will surely fail. Like others, my sympathies are always with the disadvantaged, and less privilaged section of the society. I read Dinamani on a daily basis, and offer my thanks to it for letting me to comment on its editorial.
